Muzi Shongwe – Acting General Manager and Head of Operations

 

Muzi is our Acting General Manager and Head of Operations, having joined the company in July 2016 as a non-life underwriter.

He has over fifteen (15) years’ experience in short term insurance and reinsurance underwriting. He has well-rounded exposure on all forms of reinsurance underwriting and claims management, blended with experience on regional business development and market relations.

Muzi holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Swaziland and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI). He also holds a Program in Short Term Insurance Associateship (UNISA) and is an Associate with the Insurance Institute of South Africa (AIISA). In addition to all the above qualifications, he is an admitted Advocate of the High Court of Eswatini.
